Job summary

Goodyear in Springfield, MO is seeking an entry-level Retread Plant Worker. You will participate in the retread process to extend tires, including inspection, casing repair, buffing, applying new tread, and final quality checks.

Starting pay is $20.00 per hour with potential overtime, on a Monday–Friday schedule at our on-site facility. We offer comprehensive benefits, 401(k) matching, life insurance, and paid time off to support your career growth.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be at least 18 years of age.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tires to assess if they can be retread.
• Buff the casing to remove worn tread.
• Remove embedded objects, rust, and repair the tire casing.
• Apply rubber cement or a patch to repair the casing.
• Build the tire by applying new tread and cure the retread.
• Perform final inspection to ensure safety and quality.
