Job summary

Goodyear is seeking a Retread Technician to join our on-site team in Howell, MI. You will participate in the retread process, inspecting tires, buffing casings, repairing and applying new tread, and performing final quality checks to ensure safe, road-ready tires.

This role offers on-site work with benefits and opportunities for OT. Prior experience in manufacturing or general labor is preferred, and candidates must be legally eligible to work in the U.S.

• Basic computer skills required.
• Previous experience in manufacturing environment or general labor is preferred.
• Entry level position available.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tires to assess retread eligibility.
• Buff casing to remove wear.
• Remove embedded objects, rust and repair casing.
• Apply new tread using rubber cement or patch.
• Build tire with new tread and cure retread.
• Perform final inspection for safety and quality.
