Job summary

Goodyear in Cranberry Township, PA is seeking a Retread Technician to extend tire life by retreading and inspecting casings. No prior manufacturing experience required; training will be provided. Typical shift is Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM, with potential OT and some weekend work based on demand.

Starting pay is $21.00 per hour. Benefits include medical, vision, dental, 401(k) with 2% match, company-paid life insurance, vacation time, and tuition reimbursement up to $5,250.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tires to determine retread suitability.
• Buff casing to remove worn tread.
• Remove embedded objects, rust, and repair casing.
• Repair casing with rubber cement or patches and apply new tread.
• Build tire by applying new tread and cure the retread.
• Final inspection to ensure safety and quality.
