Job summary

Goodyear is seeking teammates for our retread plants to extend tire life and get products back on the road. You will support the retread process through multiple stages, from inspection to final quality checks, with training provided.

Base pay starts around $20 per hour with overtime opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, 401(k) and life insurance, plus paid vacation and tuition assistance.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be at least 18 years old.
• Legally eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Basic computer skills and ability to follow written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tires to assess retread eligibility.
• Buff the casing to remove worn tread.
• Remove embedded objects, rust, and repair casing.
• Apply new tread using rubber cement or patch and build the retread.
• Cure the tire and perform final inspection for safety and quality.
