Job summary

Goodyear Commercial Tire & Service Centers in Salisbury, NC is seeking a Retread Technician to help recap, remold, and extend the life of tires. Training is provided, no prior experience required, with a team-oriented environment.

You will inspect tires, buff casings, repair as needed, apply tread, cure, and perform final inspections to ensure safety and quality. Comprehensive benefits are included, such as medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and tuition assistance.

• Basic computer skills for tracking and documentation.
• No prior experience required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tires to assess retread suitability.
• Buff the casing to remove worn tread.

• Apply rubber cement or patch to repair casing.
• Install new tread and cure the retread process.
• Perform final inspection for safety and quality.
