Job summary

Goodyear Haubstadt is hiring a Retread Technician to support tire retread operations. You will inspect tires, buff casings, repair, apply new tread, and perform final inspections to ensure safety and quality.

No experience required; we train. Starting pay is $22 per hour with overtime opportunities and weekly pay. Comprehensive benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, life insurance, vacation, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tires to assess retread eligibility.
• Buff casing to remove worn tread and repair as needed.
• Remove embedded objects, rust, and repair the casing.
• Apply new tread with patch and rubber cement; build tire with new tread.
• Cure the tire and perform final inspection for safety and quality.
