Job summary

Stryker in Salt Lake City, UT is hiring for a production operator responsible for assembling, testing, and inspecting electrical and mechanical components to meet quality standards. You will follow work instructions, record data, and maintain 6S organized work areas while supporting inventory and shipping activities.

Preferred candidates have a high school diploma or GED, manufacturing and medical device experience. The role pays $22.65 per hour with bonus eligibility and comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, assemble, rework, test, inspect, and verify electrical and mechanical components, subassemblies, and finished products.
  • Follow work instructions, testing procedures, and manufacturing processes to ensure product quality and compliance.
  • Maintain responsibility for quality standards and accurate completion of production and documentation requirements.
  • Utilize computers and electronic systems to record production data, monitor processes, and access documentation.
  • Operate manufacturing equipment, perform work center setup and cleanup activities, and maintain organized workspaces using 6S principles.
  • Handle, transport, store, and inspect components and finished goods while supporting inventory and material flow requirements.
  • Meet production schedules, build rates, and KPIs while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Package products for shipment and support training and certification of team members as directed by leadership.

Job description

Schedule:

Monday - Thursday, 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM, with overtime as needed by the business.

What You Will Do:
  • Prepare, assemble, rework, test, inspect, and verify electrical and mechanical components, subassemblies, and finished products.

  • Maintain responsibility for quality standards and accurate completion of production and documentation requirements.

  • Operate manufacturing equipment, perform work center setup and cleanup activities, and maintain organized workspaces using 6S principles.
