Job summary

Stryker in Salt Lake City, UT seeks an Assembly Technician to join our manufacturing team. Core duties include assembling mechanical and electronic components into subassemblies and finished products, following blueprints, testing, and maintaining quality records.

Shift: Monday–Thursday, 3:00pm–1:30am, with OT as needed. Requirements: high school diploma or GED and prior manufacturing or assembly experience.

• Previous manufacturing or assembly experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical and electrical components into subassemblies and finished products.
• Prepare, process, install, rework, test, and inspect components to meet specs.
• Follow work instructions, blueprints and test procedures to complete builds.
• Monitor and document production and quality records.
• Meet production schedules, build rates, and cycle time expectations.
• Perform setup, preparation, cleanup, and quality checks in the work area.
• Use computers and manufacturing systems to support documentation and processes.
• Maintain a safe, 6S-enabled work environment and drive continuous improvement.

What You Will Do

• Assemble mechanical and electrical components into subassemblies and finished products across one or more product lines
• Prepare, process, install, rework, test, and inspect components to ensure quality specifications are met
• Follow detailed work instructions, blueprints, and test procedures to complete builds accurately
• Monitor, document, and maintain production and quality records in accordance with company standards
• Meet production schedules, build rates, and cycle time expectations
• Perform basic set-up, work preparation, cleanup, and quality checks of your work area
• Utilize computers and manufacturing systems to support documentation and production processes
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment, supporting 6S and continuous improvement initiatives

What You Need

Preferred:

• High school diploma or GED
• Previous manufacturing or assembly experience

$21.25/hr + $2.00 Shift Premium plus bonus eligible and benefits.
