Job summary

Stryker is seeking a dedicated assembler for 1st shift to join our Kalamazoo manufacturing team. You will assemble components and sub-assemblies, follow process instructions, and ensure quality while recording documentation.

The role requires adherence to build rates, packaging for shipment, and meeting overtime expectations, including weekends. Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED and manufacturing experience.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components and sub-assemblies to complete a variety of products.
• Follow process work instructions and test procedures and document related data to meet quality requirements.
• Meet production build rates, schedules and cycle times.
• Assemble cartons and prepare products for shipment per specifications.
• Use manual and power hand tools, pneumatic tools, test equipment, presses and measuring/cutting devices.
• Set up, clean up, and maintain quality in own work and area.
• Work overtime as needed, including weekends.

1st Shift: Monday-Friday 06:00am-2:30pm; OT scheduled based on production needs.

What you will do:

• Assemble components that may include sub-assemblies, manual components and electrical components and all other related components to contribute to completion of a variety of products.
• Work from process work instructions and test procedures to complete tasks along with monitoring and recording related documentation to meet quality requirements.
• Follow production build rates, schedules and meet required cycle times.
• Assemble cartons and containers and prepare products for shipment in accordance with domestic, international and/or customer specifications.
• Use a variety of tools that may include but are not limited to manual and power hand tools, pneumatic tools, test equipment, presses, and measuring and cutting devices.
• Set-up, clean up, and quality assurance of own work and work-area.
• Meet work schedule and overtime requirements, including weekends.
• Exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/ or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
