Job summary

Sonoco is seeking a Production Associate in Horsham, PA. The role supports safe, efficient 12-hour production shifts (3/4/4/3 schedule) with Night and Day requirements. Wage is $24.91/hr, and duties include operating the assembly line, feeding materials, inspecting quality, and assisting with changeovers.

The ideal candidate follows safety practices, contributes to a safe work environment, and can learn new processes while standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 pounds as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to instruct and train other employees.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Ability to operate and functionally use a computer.
• Ability to plan, prioritize, and meet deadlines while paying attention to detail.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout a shift.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

• Complies with established job safety practices and SOPs.
• Supports and follows SQF guidelines for food safety.
• Maintains a safe work environment and participates in safety activities.
• Operates machinery on the assembly line and maintains steady product flow.
• Inspects products for defects and notifies maintenance for issues.
• Feeds raw materials and assists with line changeovers as needed.
• Keeps lines clear of jams and restarts machinery as required.
• Performs clean-up and housekeeping duties.
