Job summary

Sonoco City of Industry is hiring a Production Worker for the 1st shift (5:00 AM - 1:30 PM, Monday - Friday). You will work under the Department Supervisor to run spiral and finishing equipment, assist in shipping and cleaning, and help maintain quality.

A forklift license is a plus; safety and accurate record-keeping are essential. We value reliable attendance, adherence to safety practices, and the ability to support multiple roles as needed.

Qualifications

• Must adhere to safety standards and attendance policies.
• Willingness to work holidays, weekends, and overtime if required.
• Forklift license preferred or obtainable during employment.

Responsibilities

• Receive work assignments from the Department Supervisor and report completion.
• Operate spiral machines or finishing equipment as assigned.
• Assist in shipping, shop work, and general cleaning as needed.
• Fill in for other operator roles after training.
• Assist in inspections and monitor quality to meet specifications.
• Maintain daily production and inspection records.
