Job Responsibilities

• Fabrication and production of component parts for final window assembly.
• Work in a fast-paced, physically demanding, and repetitive environment, including heavy lifting and manual tasks.
• Operate various hand tools to manually construct window units.
• Lift glass onto build tables and roller racks.
• Move carts in and out of the production area.
• Load window sash components for processing insulated glass units.
• Assemble vinyl grids for placement within insulated glass units.
• Offload insulated glass units onto carts.
• Use production reports to assist in planning.
• Perform quality audits and participate in problem-solving activities to ensure work quality.

Qualifications

• Ability to measure lengths accurately with a tape measure.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly, above shoulder height and below waist level.
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to convert fractions to decimals.
• Read and interpret statistical data, productivity reports, and written instructions.
• Capable of using computerized equipment.
• Must be able to stand, walk, and work on concrete surfaces for extended periods.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
