Job Description

Position: Production Associate 4 (Sit-down Forklift Operator)

Job Details:

• Base Pay: $20.00 per hour
• Shift: 2nd Shift, 3:45 pm - 12:15 am

Responsibilities

• Participate in safety walks and stand-up meetings
• Investigate last known scan locations in WINTRAK for windows and doors throughout the shipping dock
• Safely unload and load windows and patio doors onto shipping carts
• Locate and retrieve custom windows and doors on holding carts
• Floor load windows and patio doors onto trailers, following manifest stops
• Label all screen, panel, and frame kit units before scanning and loading
• Scan all stock and custom windows, doors, screens, panels, frames, sash/glass units to trailer locations
• Move carts in and out of the loading dock safely
• Record stock pallet locations onto SD pallet forms for retrieval
• Properly strap loaded windows and patio doors with straps and cardboard, following SOPs
• Clean and sweep trailers before loading merchandise
• Adhere to 5S guidelines at workstation and during operations
• Engage dock lock during trailer loading and disengage upon completion
• Operate sit-down forklift safely and efficiently

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for entire shift
• Cross-train and rotate through various workstations
• Basic math skills and ability to interpret data and instructions
• Ability to use computerized equipment
• Experience with electric or gas-powered forklift (certified), 1-3 years preferred
