Production Associate 4 (Sit-down Forklift Operator)

Job Details

Base Pay: $20.00 per hour

Shift: 3:45 pm - 12:15 am

Responsibilities include:

• Participate in safety walks and meetings
• Investigate last known scan locations in WINTRAK for windows and doors
• Unload and load windows and patio doors onto shipping carts safely
• Retrieve custom windows and doors from holding carts
• Floor load windows and patio doors onto trailers following manifest stops
• Label all screen, panel, and frame units appropriately before scanning and loading
• Scan all stock and custom units to trailer locations
• Move carts safely in and out of the loading dock
• Record stock pallet locations and submit forms for retrieval
• Properly strap loaded units with straps and cardboard per SOPs
• Clean and sweep trailers before loading
• Follow 5S guidelines at workstations and during operations
• Engage dock lock during trailer loading and disengage afterward
• Operate sit-down forklift safely and efficiently

Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand throughout the shift
• Cross-train on various workstations
• Basic math skills and ability to interpret data and instructions
• Capable of using computerized equipment
• 1-3 years of manufacturing experience preferred
• Certification and experience operating electric or gas-powered forklifts
