Job Responsibilities

• Fabrication and production of component parts for final window assembly
• Working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment involving heavy lifting and manual tasks
• Operating hand tools to manually assemble window units
• Lifting glass onto build tables and roller racks
• Moving carts in and out of the production area
• Loading window sash components for insulated glass processing
• Assembling vinyl grids for insulated glass units
• Offloading insulated glass units onto carts
• Using production reports to assist in planning and quality assurance activities

Qualifications

• Ability to measure accurately with a tape measure
• Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly, including above shoulder height and below waist level
• Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in various units
• Ability to convert fractions to decimals
• Capability to read statistical data, productivity reports, and instructions
• Proficiency with computerized equipment
• Ability to stand, walk, and work on concrete surfaces for extended periods
• High school diploma or GED preferred
