Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a manufacturing associate to assemble windows by measuring and using hand tools, saws, punches and drills. Day shift: 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM.

Requirements include 1–2 years in manufacturing or related fields, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, read a tape measure, and a focus on safety and attendance. Must work in a fast-paced production environment and be willing to cross-train.

Qualifications

Base Pay Starts at $19.00 Per Hour

Shift: Day shift, 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assemble windows for customers bymeasuring and using hand tools, saws, punches and drills
• Maintaining safe/clean work environment and utilizing safe work practices in all job projects
• Assist production and open to being cross-trained
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) compliance

Qualifications

1-2 years' experience in manufacturing, production, warehouse or construction experience preferred

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
• Must beable to work in a fast-paced production environment and be quality conscious
• Daily commitment to safety
• Must have a desire and willingness to work and learn while understanding the importance of excellent attendance and a can-do attitude
• Reading a tape measure is required
• Ability to apply concepts to practical situations
• Read, write and communicate using English language sufficient to perform job function

PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS

• Ability to bend, twist, squat, reaches, grasp, stand, walk and perform fine manipulation with fingers
• Vision abilities to include close, distance, peripheral, color and depth differentiation
• Exposed to excessive noise, dust, fumes or chemicals on the shop floor
• Intermittently exposed to inclement weather
• Work overtime as needed
• Working in various departments
