Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in Spokane Valley, WA is hiring for a window assembly role on the day shift. You will measure, assemble and finish window components using hand tools, saws, punches and drills, while maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

This full-time position offers a base pay of $20.50 per hour, benefits from day one including medical, dental and vision, 401(k) and PTO, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years’ experience in manufacturing, production, warehouse or construction preferred.
• Able to read a tape measure.
• English reading/writing sufficient to perform job functions.

JOB DETAILS

Base Pay $20.50 per hour

Shifts:Day shift - 6:00am-4:30 pm, Monday-Thursday, Friday as needed

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assemble windows for customers bymeasuring and using hand tools, saws, punches and drills
• Maintaining safe/clean work environment and utilizing safe work practices in all job projects
• Assist production and open to being cross-trained
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) compliance

Qualifications

WORK EXPERIENCE

• 1-2 years’ experience in manufacturing, production, warehouse or construction experience preferred

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

• Must be able to work in a fast-paced production environment and be quality conscious
• Daily commitment to safety
• Must have a desire and willingness to work and learn while understanding the importance of excellent attendance and a can-do attitude
• Reading a tape measure is required
• Ability to apply concepts to practical situations
• Read, write and communicate using English language sufficient to perform job function

PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS

• Ability to bend, twist, squat, reaches, grasp, stand, walk and perform fine manipulation with fingers
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
• Vision abilities to include close, distance, peripheral, color and depth differentiation
• Exposed to excessive noise, dust, fumes or chemicals on the shop floor
• Intermittently exposed to inclement weather
• Work overtime as needed
• Working in various departments
