DynaDome is seeking a Production Associate I at our Crown Point, Indiana facility to support the manufacturing and assembly of retractable structures. You will work with the production team to build components safely, prepare materials for shipment, and assist with installation activities when required.

Job Description

DynaDome is seeking a Production Associate I to support the manufacturing and assembly of custom retractable structures at our Crown Point, Indiana facility.

This position works as part of the production team to manufacture components safely, assemble products, prepare materials for shipment, and support installation activities when required. Production Associates play an important role in maintaining product quality, meeting production schedules, and ensuring projects move efficiently from manufacturing through installation.

This role provides opportunities to develop skills in manufacturing, equipment operation, assembly, and field installation support.

Requirements
  • Manufacture and assemble aluminum components and structural systems according to drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
  • Operate machinery and equipment used to cut, drill, machine, and prepare aluminum components.
  • Safely use hand tools, power tools, and production equipment.
  • Load, unload, and move materials using forklifts and other approved equipment.
  • Prepare finished products and materials for shipment.
  • Support installation activities and field operations as needed.
  • Read and interpret basic drawings, measurements, and production documentation.
  • Maintain accurate work quality and follow established manufacturing procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Follow OSHA requirements and all company safety policies.

  • Experience reading construction drawings, shop drawings, or production prints is a plus but not required.
Education
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and perform physical tasks throughout the workday.
  • Ability to safely work from ladders and elevated work platforms.
  • Ability to work both indoors and outdoors when supporting installation activities.
  • Comfortable working at heights when required.
Travel Requirements
  • This position requires overnight travel for installation support and field operations as needed.
