Job summary

Dometic Land Vehicles America’s is seeking a Production Associate to join our team. You will contribute to assembly, materials handling, shipping/receiving, and inventory management to support production and distribution of our products.

Responsibilities include operating cutting machines, reading specifications, inspecting quality, and maintaining a safe workspace while collaborating with the team to meet delivery commitments.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, bend, reach and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Able to lift up to 75 pounds with/without accommodation.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble products and components according to procedures and specifications.
  • Operate cutting machines to cut fabrics and other materials to required dimensions.
  • Read and interpret work instructions, blueprints and diagrams.
  • Inspect materials and finished products for quality and accuracy.
  • Identify and report material defects or production discrepancies.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and commitments.
  • Receive, store, move, and distribute raw materials and finished goods.
  • Load and unload trucks and ensure shipment accuracy.
  • Fulfill production and customer orders from stock.
  • Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely.
  • Utilize RF scanners and warehouse systems to track inventory.

Dometic Land Vehicles America’s is a trusted provider of high-end products for recreational vehicles, commercial passenger vehicles, and overlanding vehicles throughout North America, Latin America, and the Caribbean. We are on a journey of continuous growth and are seeking talented Production and Distribution Associates to join our team.

We are looking for dependable, team-oriented individuals to join our team as a Production Associate. Depending on business needs and individual experience, team members may perform a combination of assembly, material handling, shipping/receiving, inventory, and/or forklift responsibilities while supporting the production and distribution of our industry-leading products.

Key Responsibilities
Assembly & Production Operations
  • Assemble products and components according to established procedures, work instructions, and specifications.
  • Operate cutting machines to accurately cut fabric and other materials to required dimensions.
  • Read and interpret work instructions, blueprints, diagrams, and production specifications.
  • Inspect materials and finished products for quality, consistency, and accuracy.
  • Identify and report material defects or production discrepancies.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and customer commitments.
Warehouse, Material Handling & Forklift Operations
  • Receive, store, move, and distribute raw materials and finished goods throughout the facility.
  • Load and unload trucks and delivery vehicles safely and efficiently.
  • Pull materials and products to fulfill production and customer orders.
  • Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against packing lists and shipping documentation.
  • Package products for shipment and ensure shipment accuracy.
  • Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment in accordance with safety procedures.
  • Utilize RF scanners, computers, and warehouse systems to track inventory and material movement.
  • Assist with shipping, receiving, inventory control, and general warehouse operations.
General Responsibilities (All Production Associates)
  • Follow all safety policies, procedures, and quality standards
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • Participate in training and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet operational goals.

Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the workday.
  • Ability to safely lift, move, and carry materials up to 75 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Preferred Qualifications
  • High school diploma, GED, or previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, warehouse operations, shipping/receiving, or material handling.
  • Experience operating specialized machines and equipment in a manufacturing setting.
  • Experience using RF scanners, inventory systems, or warehouse management systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, patterns, technical drawings, or work instructions.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft applications, ERP systems, or D365 preferred.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Willingness to learn and perform multiple production and warehouse functions as business needs require.
  • Dependability, flexibility, and a positive team-oriented attitude.
