Job summary

Daimler Truck North America’s Detroit Manufacturing Plant is hiring for on-site roles in our Detroit facility. Starting at $17.50/hr with scheduled increases to $26.00/hr and a maximum of $37.40+ by 2031, plus shift premiums and comprehensive benefits.

You’ll work on assembly, material handling, and quality tasks on the production line and be part of a diverse team. We offer holidays, 401(k) with company match, tuition assistance, life insurance, and parental leave.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic reading and math abilities.
• Ability to learn multiple jobs and tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and support production line tasks.
• Handle materials and perform shipping/receiving duties.
• Perform minor tool repair and routine maintenance.
• Adhere to all safety standards and quality/productivity expectations.
• Release finished product to the next work group based on standards.
