Job summary

TAPCO Inc. is seeking a Production Assembler for a 2nd shift in Milwaukee to assemble, program, and test TAPCO products in a cell-based manufacturing environment.

You will follow standardized work, apply Lean and 5S principles, and collaborate with engineering and management to drive improvements. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and adaptability, with a 2nd shift schedule of 2:30PM–11:00PM and a base pay that reflects experience, plus a $2,000 sign-on bonus paid in installments.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret engineer drawings and work instructions.
• Proficient in mechanical assembly and wiring basics.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assemble custom orders per engineered-to-order standards.
• Program and test finished products.
• Perform cell changeovers and support Lean 5S practices.
• Lift up to 40 lbs and maintain safety compliance.
