Job summary

TAPCO is hiring a Production Assembler in Brown Deer, WI. Join a hands-on, cell-based manufacturing team focused on lean practices and safety. You will assemble, program, and test TAPCO products, with opportunities to grow and contribute to continuous improvement.

Sign-on bonus of $2,000 is paid in installments. 1st shift is Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM. Pay is based on experience, with comprehensive benefits and growth potential at TAPCO.

Qualifications

• Experience assembling panels, wire harnesses, and other electrical control assemblies.
• Ability to read, write and interpret English instructions, drawings and schematics.
• Ability to perform basic math and measurements for component quantities and tolerances.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills in a cell-based manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Interpret engineer drawings to pull correct parts.
• Assemble custom orders per engineered-to-order standards.
• Program and test finished products.
• Pack products using protective padding and appropriate containers.
• Participate in cell changeovers and lean initiatives.
