Job summary

MiniMed is seeking a Product Test Engineer II for our Northridge, CA facility. In this hands-on role, you will develop and execute test strategies for electromechanical insulin delivery devices, ensuring safety, quality, and reliability through real-world simulations.

You will work closely with design, R&D and quality teams, apply statistics and DOE techniques, author protocols and reports, and support CAPA and regulatory activities. On-site presence is required with occasional hybrid options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biomedical/Mechanical Engineering or related field required.
• 2+ years' experience in design verification or test engineering.
• Experience in FDA-regulated environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test strategies for electromechanical medical devices.
• Collaborate with design, R&D and quality teams from planning to transfer.
• Apply statistical methods to validate tests and support reliability demonstrations.
• Document test protocols, engineering reports and lab notebooks.
• Support CAPA investigations and regulatory audits.
