Job summary

MiniMed is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test in Northridge, CA to lead embedded test automation for insulin-pump systems. You will design and maintain automated test scripts, libraries, and CI/CD integrations for device software.

You will collaborate with software, hardware, quality, and regulatory teams to build high-confidence V&V evidence, perform comprehensive testing, and ensure patient safety through HIL/SIL and AI-assisted quality engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 4+ years of experience in software testing or verification for embedded systems.
• Experience with Python and JavaScript for test automation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts, libraries, and framework APIs for embedded software.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD, troubleshoot failures, and diagnose test-environment issues.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and validation testing of embedded firmware and device interfaces.
• Validate hardware/software interactions using HIL/SIL benches and test fixtures.
