Job summary

MiniMed is seeking a Senior Test Engineer for an on-site role in Northridge, CA, with a hybrid schedule (onsite at least 3 days per week). You will develop test strategies for wireless diabetes therapy systems, create test plans, and verify designs for new products while collaborating with R&D and regulatory teams to ensure quality and safety.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering with 4+ years of experience or an advanced degree with 2+ years, and willingness to travel up to 30%

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field with at least 4 years of relevant experience or advanced degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience working on electromechanical systems or medical devices.
• Experience with test method development and hands-on lab work.

Responsibilities

• Develop test strategies for wireless diabetes therapy systems.
• Create test plans and methods; present reports to project leaders.
• Perform design verification for new products in development and evaluate design changes.
