Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ is hiring Production Test Engineers to support test processes across product life cycles. Onsite role with shift flexibility and DoD Secret clearance requirements. You will troubleshoot hardware, maintain test equipment data, and drive improvements in yield and capacity.

Typically a STEM degree with 2+ years' experience and ability to obtain ATF access; relocation is eligible; RTX offers comprehensive benefits and a path to contribute to critical defense programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in STEM with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with electrical/electronic troubleshooting.
• Ability to obtain and maintain ATF access.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and provides accurate rework instructions for the product hardware.
• Creation and maintenance of spares and the test equipment obsolescence plan.
• Creation of Basis of Estimates (BOE) to estimate costs to add additional capacity, new capabilities and equipment obsolescence.
• Leads projects to reduce test time and improve test processes through analysis of predictive metrics.
• Develop test flows and contribute to test capacity analysis.
• Maintain changes to test equipment technical data package including drawings and procedures.
• Assist in non-routine fault isolation, diagnosis and repair of product or test equipment.
• Lead root cause investigations and present findings.
• Performs risk assessments and supports program risk reviews.
• Leads projects and is responsible for execution.
• Ability to support 2nd shift.
