Job summary

Reliable Safety and Flow Corporation, based in Liberty, SC, seeks a Product Technology Manager to lead technical education and support for customers, specifying engineers, end users, and colleagues in proper product use.

The role interfaces with Product Development Engineering, PMO, and Sales, driving training programs, documentation, and input on new products while promoting safety and industry engagement.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in fire protection, mechanical technology or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in fire sprinkler system design and installation.

Responsibilities

• Answer technical questions on Reliable products submitted by telephone and email.
• Perform technical training for Reliable personnel.
• Assist with creation and maintenance of technical documentation.
• Meet with customers, specifying engineers, and end users to discuss the use, features, and benefits of Reliable products.
• Provide technical presentations to industry associations, customers, specifying engineers, and end users.
• Plan, develop, and execute hands-on and classroom training for sprinkler system designers and fitters.
• Provide input on new products and product improvements.
• Troubleshoot Reliable products.
• Represent Reliable at industry events (AFSA, NFPA, NFSA, SFPE, etc.).
• Directly support sales force as necessary.
• Promote a safe workplace by performing all tasks in a safe and thoughtful manner in compliance with all rules, procedures, instructions, devices, equipment and use of appropriate personal protective equipment.
