Job summary

Reliable Safety and Flow Corporation in Liberty, SC seeks a Product Technology Manager to guide technical use of Reliable products for engineers and end users. You will educate customers, coordinate with PDE/PMO and sales, and help advance new product development and documentation.

Requirements include NFPA standards knowledge, deep sprinkler system experience, strong presentation and collaboration skills, and willingness to travel up to 50% domestically to industry events and client sites.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in fire protection or mechanical technology or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in fire sprinkler design and installation.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% domestically.

Responsibilities

• Answer technical questions on Reliable products submitted by telephone and email.
• Perform technical training for Reliable personnel.
• Assist with creation and maintenance of technical documentation.
• Meet with customers, specifying engineers, and end users to discuss use, features, benefits.
• Provide technical presentations to industry associations, customers, specifying engineers, end users.
• Plan, develop and execute hands-on and classroom training for sprinkler designers and fitters.
• Provide input on new products and product improvements.
• Troubleshoot and represent Reliable at industry events.
