Job summary

Samaritan's Purse is seeking a Product Technical Lead within the Information Technology team in Irving, TX. The role focuses on designing, building, and maintaining a multi-tenant SaaS analytics platform with scalable, secure architecture and ETL/ELT pipelines.

You will lead a small development team, partner with the Product Owner to translate user needs into technical plans, and drive engineering best practices including automated testing, CI/CD, and secure coding.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Data Science, or related field (or equivalent experience) with 7+ years in software engineering or data platform development.
• Deep expertise in modern software architecture including microservices, API design, cloud-native infrastructure, and full-stack development across front-end, back-end, and database technologies.
• Proven leadership experience guiding and mentoring engineering teams while contributing hands-on to core components.
• Comfortable in agile, product-centered environments with the ability to pivot as priorities evolve.
• Experience building or supporting enterprise analytics platforms using technologies such as Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, Apache Airflow, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, C#/.NET or Java, Tableau, Power BI, and D3.js
• 12 credit hours of college-level Biblical Studies preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Maintain a personal, active relationship with Jesus Christ and be a consistent witness for Jesus Christ
• Design, build, and maintain a multi-tenant SaaS analytics platform with scalable, secure architecture and ETL/ELT data pipelines
• Lead, mentor, and grow a small development team, fostering a collaborative, high-trust, high-performance culture
• Partner with the Product Owner to translate user needs into technical plans and deliver maximum value through trade-off discussions
• Drive engineering best practices including automated testing, CI/CD, secure coding, and performance monitoring, with hands-on coding on foundational components
• Oversee deliverable quality, manage technical debt, lead retrospectives, and use engineering metrics to drive continuous improvement
• Other duties as assigned
