Job summary

QTS Data Centers is seeking a Software Engineering Technical Lead in Dallas to guide a team of 4-5 offshore engineers. You will establish patterns, best practices, and architectures for the SDP platform that the rest of the team can build on to create features and resolve bugs.

The role focuses on APIs and system integration with both front-end and back-end technologies, code reviews, architecture leadership, and strong technical documentation to support ongoing development and Scrum ceremonies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent professional experience.
• Seven or more years of Software Engineering experience with a focus on APIs and system integration.
• Experience with front-end technologies (Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS) and back-end technologies (Java 8+, Spring Boot, Security, Hibernate, SQL, REST).
• Strong documentation and offshore team leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Implement applications using microservices architecture style.
• Perform code reviews and coordinate team work tasks.
• Lead requirements analysis and system architecture, including database schemas and development approach.
• Technical specification and task estimation.
• Perform Scrum ceremonies (PS/PG, retrospective, etc.).
• Mentor team members and prepare technical documentation.
