Ascend Learning is seeking a Senior Technical Product Owner to drive data platform features and analytics capabilities. You will bridge business objectives and engineering, prioritizing backlogs and guiding multiple teams in an enterprise setting.

The role supports a hybrid work model from Burlington, MA or Leawood, KS with remote options within the United States, and focuses on clear roadmaps and user-centric product development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in business/IT or related field preferred.
• 5+ years in product ownership/management, consulting, Agile, or IT project mgmt.
• 5+ years using cloud data platforms and BI tools (Snowflake, Tableau).
• Experience in agile environments and SAFe framework preferred.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to balance priorities.

Responsibilities

• Create, prioritize and balance feature requests across multiple business groups.
• Manage sprints, backlogs, and roadmap milestones across teams.
• Collaborate with BI, engineering, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into features.
• Define platform-level features and translate business needs into technical plans.
• Ensure alignment with product requirements and market feedback; drive release notes.
