• Job Title: Product Support Specialist - Japanese (Banking Application Operations & Maintenance)
• Client: Japanese Financial Institution through IT company
• Working Location: Remote (Must be able to work in Eastern Time Zone)
• Working Style: Remote
• Employment Type: Long-term / Full-time
• Salary: $52-54
• Benefit: 401K match
• Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (8 working hours/day)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily application operations and maintenance on RedHat Linux environments
• Serve as a bridge between Application and Infrastructure teams
• Respond to incidents involving both infrastructure and applications; identify root cause and coordinate resolution with relevant teams
• Support system enhancements and updates as needed
• Escalate appropriately while ensuring smooth communication among stakeholders
• Handle minor project management tasks (e.g., WBS creation, small process improvement initiatives)
• Operate in an enterprise IT environment with a focus on reliability and service continuity
• Utilize basic database experience with Oracle or MSSQL Server

Qualifications

• Proven experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders across departments
• Basic command-line skills in Linux (not necessary to be an advanced user)
• Experience in application deployment or understanding of application-infrastructure integration
• Project management experience (PMP certification is a plus)
• Financial industry experience is nice to have, but not required
