Join to apply for the APPLICATIONS SUPPORT SPECIALIST II role at Custom Truck One Source.

Summary

The Application Support Specialist will report to the Application Support Manager and will be responsible for the daily operations and improvement of the company’s core business software applications, including but not limited to Salesforce, Infor M3, O365, SharePoint, and Rentalman.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain and support application user administration.
  • Assist in recommending changes and coordinating applications to role-based environments.
  • Identify and implement process improvements for business functions.
  • Manage and coordinate the Service Request list.
  • Coordinate application release updates with vendors and users.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate standards.
  • Plan, test, implement, and troubleshoot software upgrades.
  • Support and develop end-user training documentation.
  • Develop help desk knowledge base articles.
  • Work with IT teams to resolve technical issues.
  • Monitor and recommend software licensing changes to control costs.
  • Respond to application support tickets and monitor ongoing issues.
  • Provide status reports by application as needed.
  • Liaise with the IT PMO for request prioritization.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of experience with Salesforce and other IT applications.
  • Understanding of technical management to achieve customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to work in a matrix management structure and influence stakeholders.
  • Results-oriented with strong organizational and quantitative skills, moderate to high EQ.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience with multi-site operational and technical teams.
  • Good IT acumen, able to communicate technical info to business users.
  • Experience with business applications supporting operations.
  • Basic understanding of servers, networks, cloud, data warehousing, and analytics.

  • Problem-solving skills and ability to gather information, develop solutions, and work in groups.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Teamwork and openness to feedback, contributing to a positive team environment.

Working Conditions

Remote work environment; ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboard.

Physical Requirements

  • Sitting, standing, walking.
  • Punctual attendance, Monday-Friday, plus additional hours as needed.
  • Long periods of sitting and repetitive tasks.
  • Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
