Position Summary:

Under the supervision of the EMR Applications Manager, this role supports care management by ensuring high-quality, cost-effective care through the administration and functionality of the Electronic Member Record (EMR) system and related systems. Responsibilities include creating and maintaining tools for implementing, testing, and training on EMR configurations.

Responsibilities & Competencies:

  1. Monitor EMR applications and related systems, document and analyze issues.
  2. Support system performance by addressing end-user questions via helpdesk.
  3. Create and monitor automated workflows in Microsoft related to end-user processes.
  4. Assist with configuration changes, document configuration details.
  5. Test system functions, especially after updates or new features.
  6. Create and maintain training materials and end-user tools, including written and recorded formats.
  7. Coordinate activities between LCI, EMR/system vendors, and third-party administrators.
  8. Maintain confidentiality of client and protected health information per regulations, including HIPAA.

Requirements:

  • Associate’s degree in IT or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of care management experience preferred.
  • Experience supporting EMR systems is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with process automation and technology efficiency.
  • Understanding of complex application workflows and processes.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical skills, and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Knowledge of EMR coding, crosswalk systems, and security policies is preferred.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to build working relationships.
  • Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and proof of insurance required.
