Job summary

Bilt Rewards is seeking a Product Specialist for Rentals in New York. You will advocate for residents and property-manager partners, oversee end-to-end leasing-to-rent flows, and ensure high-quality product releases through cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities include testing features, logging issues, tracking metrics, and translating feedback into actionable improvements. You’ll work with Product, Engineering, Design, Operations, and Support to optimize the Rentals platform.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a product role or related field.
• Deep obsession with user experience and product quality; strong attention to detail.
• Genuine curiosity; ability to dig into how things work and why they fail.
• Strong partnering skills; able to map learnings to product feedback with external partners.
• Strong analytical skills; comfortable with product and business data.
• Ability to synthesize quantitative signals and qualitative feedback into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication; clearly articulate issues and recommendations.
• Comfort with AI tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude; design AI-driven workflows.

Responsibilities

• Represent residents and property manager partners in Rentals pod discussions and decisions.
• Run end-to-end product journeys to understand real user experiences.
• Test new features, enhancements, and integrations across environments.
• Document, prioritize, and drive bugs and usability issues to resolution in Linear with engineers.
• Monitor core product metrics tied to adoption, usage, and payment success.
• Analyze resident and partner behavior to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with multifamily operators to translate business needs into product feedback.
• Surface downstream implications for teams, partners, and residents before/after launches.
• Translate learnings into prioritized recommendations; build AI workflows to speed testing/analysis.
