Job summary

RDO Equipment Co. is seeking a Product Specialist for Vermeer to advise customers, support sales teams, and drive value-added solutions across the region. You’ll be the trusted technical and market resource, delivering demonstrations and training while identifying new opportunities to expand market share.

The role emphasizes strong relationship-building, territory knowledge, and a hands-on approach to delivering customer success in a dynamic dealership environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in Vermeer equipment or heavy machinery a plus.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work autonomously across a territory and with multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Relationship Development: Build strong industry relationships and maintain real-time awareness of market activity and opportunities.
• Product Demonstrations: Schedule and conduct product demos and technical presentations to showcase equipment capabilities.
• Delivery & Training: Coordinate machine deliveries and provide onsite operation and maintenance training for customers.
• Customer Follow-Up: Maintain ongoing communication with customers to ensure satisfaction and long-term success with equipment.
• Cross-Team Collaboration: Communicate with store leadership, sales teams, and manufacturing partners on product, technical, and commercial topics.
• Opportunity Identification: Identify additional parts, service, and sales opportunities and refer leads to appropriate teams.
• Training Support: Provide ongoing product training to customers and internal team members.
