Job summary

RDO Equipment Co. is seeking a Product Specialist for Vermeer to strengthen customer relationships, demonstrate equipment, and drive regional growth.

In this role you will partner with customers and sales teams, coordinate product demos, and deliver on-site training while identifying service and parts opportunities to expand share. The position centers on technical knowledge, advisory skills, and a customer-first approach.

Responsibilities

• Relationship Development: Build strong industry relationships and maintain real-time awareness of market activity and opportunities.
• Product Demonstrations: Schedule and conduct product demos and technical presentations to showcase equipment capabilities.
• Delivery & Training: Coordinate machine deliveries and provide onsite operation and maintenance training for customers.
• Customer Follow-Up: Maintain ongoing communication with customers to ensure satisfaction and long-term success with equipment.
• Cross-Team Collaboration: Communicate with store leadership, sales teams, and manufacturing partners on product, technical, and commercial topics.
• Opportunity Identification: Identify additional parts, service, and sales opportunities and refer leads to appropriate teams.
• Training Support: Provide ongoing product training to customers and internal team members.
