The Product Specialist is responsible for Cepheid’s product portfolio, brand strategies, lead generation, and projects covering all product lines. The Product Specialist will develop impactful country-specific campaigns in addition to executing global campaigns. The Product Specialist will also develop product and competitor knowledge to subject matter expert level and help support field team. The Product Specialist is responsible for building the value stream for testing beyond Laboratory that drives significant impact to the organization. This position is part of the South East Asia Diagnostics platform team and will be located in Ha noi – Vietnam.

You will be a part of the Vietnam Commercial team and report to the Commercial Leader, Vietnam and will be responsible for all product lines and drive transformative marketing while working within a matrix structure. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

- Customer Engagement & Business Case Development: Leads on-site engagements to collect insights, build case studies, and present economic justifications that highlight the value of Cepheid solutions across departments and leadership levels.

-Cross-Functional Collaboration & Influence Building: Develops internal champions across clinical and administrative teams (e.g., Infection Prevention, Pharmacy, C-Suite) and acts as a consultant on issues affecting product performance, cost, and reliability.

-Marketing Strategy & Campaign Execution: Designs and runs marketing initiatives using VOC and product benefits, targeting key audiences through digital channels, and ensuring effective lead generation and sales-qualified leads (SQLs).

- Product Lifecycle & Market Support: Manages end-to-end product lifecycle activities, partners with functions like regulatory and finance, builds KOL networks, and represents the company at key industry events and forums.

-Sales Enablement & Technical Expertise: Supports sales through device troubleshooting, product messaging, and launch strategies. Becomes a subject matter expert to handle regulatory and allocation issues, and collaborates with global and local teams for seamless execution.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Educational qualification – B.Sc./M.Sc.

  • 5+ years of product management/marketing experience in molecular, IVD products.

  • Knowledge and understanding of molecular, laboratory, IVD, local regulatory requirements.

  • Good communication (Local language and English), presentation skills and interpersonal skills.

  • Experience with product launches, organizing conferences, and product life-cycle management.
