Job Description

Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for a Product Specialist based in Singapore. The Product Specialist is responsible for building relationships with key accounts and managing a group of key accounts and territories. The role involves developing business opportunities across the Ethicon product range with the goal of achieving or exceeding sales and profit targets for both Franchise and Account-based Business Plans. Additionally, the role focuses on developing long-term customer relationships to foster loyalty and confidence in Johnson & Johnson as a preferred supplier.

Key Responsibilities
  • Achieve or exceed assigned account sales targets and gross profit contributions in key accounts.
  • Identify development opportunities to increase unit growth, profitability, and market share for target customers.
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through strong relationships, product support, and services.
  • Enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of healthcare services to patients through education and training where appropriate.
  • Support sales, marketing, and franchise teams through collaboration and constructive engagement in sales meetings, account development, and resolving daily business issues.
  • Manage account information via timely reports and accurate customer records.
  • Continuously improve product knowledge and sales skills to provide superior service that differentiates Johnson & Johnson from competitors.
  • Engage in product portfolio management and set strategic directions aligned with customer needs and business goals.
  • Undertake other duties vital for the company's advancement.
Qualifications
Education
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required.
Experience and Skills
Required
  • Willingness to work long and irregular hours, including weekends.
  • Ability to conduct sales mapping, pre-call planning, and post-call follow-ups.
  • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities and a passion for excellence in a customer-centric, innovative organization.
Preferred
  • Experience with medical devices is preferred.
  • Sales experience is advantageous.
  • Possessing a valid Class 3 driving license is preferred.
