Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a Software Engineer in Product Security to build and deploy security tooling across our data platforms and multi-cloud production environment. You will create scalable applications and APIs enabling engineers to protect CrowdStrike’s Security Cloud at scale.

You will collaborate with teams to implement security tooling strategy, own CI/CD and datastore operations, and contribute to incident response and high-availability objectives.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Software Engineering role (event-driven systems, data ingestion pipelines, internal automation tools, internal monitoring tools).
• Experience developing in Golang, Python, React, Angular, and/or Typescript.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, containers, cryptographic signing, and OSS dependencies.
• Experience with data engineering and datastore/queue ops (OpenSearch, Valkey, Postgres, Kafka, SQS).
• End-to-end SDLC management with stakeholder engagement and outcomes.
• Experience with Generative AI to enhance workflows and create services.
• Familiarity with configuration/orchestration tools (Ansible, Chef, Salt, Puppet).
• Background in Product Security or SaaS security platforms is a plus.
• Broad cybersecurity awareness: adversaries, TTPs, and threat landscape.
• Telemetry monitoring/analysis and security operations/incident response.
• Cloud-scale Linux environments; AWS or GCP experience.
• Independent yet collaborative, knowing when to ask for help.

Responsibilities

• Be a technical contributor on a global software engineering team in Product Security.
• Design and implement security tooling and automation for security use cases.
• Collaborate to develop tooling strategy via risk assessments and deep dives.
• Own SRE excellence, CI/CD, and datastore operations with monitoring and response.
