Job summary

CrowdStrike is hiring a Software Engineer in Product Security to build and deploy security tooling across our multi-cloud platform. You will contribute to scalable data platforms, APIs, and frameworks used by engineers globally to safeguard production systems.

You will partner with security teams to define tooling strategy, own CI/CD pipelines, and drive reliability for critical security services with telemetry and incident response in mind.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Software Engineering role with event-driven systems and data pipelines.
• Experience developing in Golang, Python, React, Angular, or Typescript.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, containers, software cryptographic signing, and OSS dependencies.
• Experience with data engineering and datastore/queue operations (OpenSearch, Kafka, Postgres, SQS, etc.).
• Experience managing end-to-end SDLC with stakeholder engagement and mission outcomes.
• Experience with Generative AI and leveraging LLMs to enhance workflows.
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, Salt, or Puppet.
• Experience in a Product Security role; SaaS background is a bonus.
• Broad awareness of cybersecurity landscape, adversaries, and TTPs.
• Experience monitoring telemetry data and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Be a technical contributor on a global software engineering team in Product Security, building and operating robust and scalable systems.
• Design and implement software and automation tools for security use cases like software supply chain security and AI-powered vulnerability discovery.
• Partner with Product Security teams to develop tooling strategy through risk assessments and architectural reviews.
• Own SRE excellence, CI/CD, and datastore operations for mission-critical security services, with monitoring and response processes.
