Job summary

Tundra Technical Solutions has been engaged to supply skilled technicians on contract through Boeing for a defined project. You will assemble, disassemble and modify aerospace vehicle components to correct failures or implement changes, and supervise related tasks to ensure flight readiness.

The role requires diagnosing pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems, performing verification tests, and documenting procedures for contractual compliance.

Qualifications

  • Experience assembling/disassembling/upgrading aerospace components.
  • Ability to inspect and verify repairs for flight worthiness.

Responsibilities

  • Assembles, disassembles and/or modifies aerospace vehicle components to correct failures or implement changes.
  • Oversees assembly, disassembly or overhaul.
  • Configures aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment.
  • Troubleshoots pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to isolate faults and repair components.
  • Performs validation/verification testing of systems and components.
  • Documents procedures and established processes for contractual and regulatory compliance.
  • Inspects components and verifies repairs for flight worthiness.
  • Oversees training.

Job description

This posting is for a contract assignment and is not a full-time employment offer with Boeing. Candidates selected for roles will be employed as contract workers through a Boeing approved 3rd party for the duration of the specified project.

Assembles, disassembles and/or modifies systems by changing, removing, replacing or upgrading aerospace vehicle components to correct failures or implement changes. Oversees assembly, disassembly or overhaul. Configures aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment. Troubleshoots complex pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components. Performs validation/verification testing of systems and components. Documents procedures and established processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance (e.g., repairs, test results, applicable modifications and inspection results). Inspects components and verifies repairs for flight worthiness requirements. Oversees training. Works under general direction.

Pay Rate Range

35 - 40 USD hourly
