Job summary

Boeing Future of Flight is seeking a contract technician to assemble, disassemble, and modify aerospace systems. You will troubleshoot pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems, perform validation testing, and document procedures to ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory standards.

You will also inspect components and oversee training for staff and subcontractors. The role is contract-based through a Boeing approved third party, with pay rates outlined below and benefits as

• Troubleshoots pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to isolate faults and repair components.
• Documents procedures and established processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance.
• Inspects components and verifies repairs for flight worthiness requirements.
• Oversees training of personnel.

• Assembles, disassembles and/or modifies systems by changing, removing, replacing or upgrading aerospace vehicle components to correct failures or implement changes.
• Oversees assembly, disassembly or overhaul.
• Configures aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment.
• Troubleshoots complex pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components.
• Performs validation/verification testing of systems and components.
• Documents procedures and established processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance.
• Inspects components and verifies repairs for flight worthiness requirements.

This posting is for a contract assignment and is not a full-time employment offer with Boeing. Candidates selected for roles will be employed as contract workers through a Boeing approved 3rd party for the duration of the specified project.
