Job summary

Tundra Technical Solutions is seeking candidates for a contract assignment to support aerospace systems. You will assist with disassembly, basic troubleshooting, testing, and fabrication under supervision.

The role requires willingness to work 2nd/3rd shifts, basic tools experience, and ability to obtain security clearance post-start. Benefits are provided through the third-party provider.

Qualifications

• Education/experience typically through high school diploma or GED.

• 1+ years of experience with tools and following work instructions.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist with disassembly of systems components to support failure correction or changes.
• Assist with basic troubleshooting of pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to isolate faults and repair components.
• Perform validation/verification testing of systems and components.
• Fabricate and modify aerospace products per specifications.

Job description

This posting is for a contract assignment and is not a full-time employment offer with Boeing. Candidates selected for roles will be employed as contract workers through a Boeing approved 3rd party for the duration of the specified project.

Assists with disassembly of systems components to support the correction of failures or implement changes. Assists with basic troubleshooting of pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components. Performs validation/verification testing of systems and components. Fabricates and modifies aerospace products according to specifications. Assists with performs tasks associated with the safe handling of a simple aerospace vehicle (e.g. jacking, towing, system operations). Works under supervision.

Required Qualifications

• Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. high school diploma/GED).
• Ability to obtain a security clearance post-start.
• Ability to work off shift (2nd/3rd).
• 1 or more years of experience working with tools and following work instructions.
• Basic Computer Skills Required Including Microsoft Office Applications.
• Willingness to work with beryllium and/or other chemicals if needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the inspection of parts, components, assemblies or units.
• 1 or more years’ experience soldering and assembly of equipment components.
• 1 or more years’ experience using handheld tools and/or power tools.
• Ability to read and understand basic engineering drawings and specifications.
• 1 or more years working under a microscope.

Pay Rate Range

22 - 26 USD hourly
