Job summary

Divergent is seeking a Product Reliability Engineer to drive quality and reliability across our high-precision manufacturing platforms in the United States. You will lead defect reduction, inspect optimization, and data-driven improvements to ensure production readiness and adherence to customer requirements.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage audits and quality deliverables, and mentor staff while deploying scalable quality control plans.

Qualifications

• Experience leading quality initiatives focused on process improvement and defect reduction in manufacturing.
• Proficiency with PPAP, FMEA, and root cause analysis to resolve issues and improve processes.
• Knowledge of advanced inspection methods including CMM programming and Gage R&R.

Responsibilities

• Lead process improvement and defect-reduction initiatives using data-driven analysis.
• Develop robust inspection controls and standardize procedures for consistency and yield.
• Engage with customers and suppliers to ensure quality deliverables and compliance.
• Coordinate nonconformance handling and corrective actions with MRB processes.
• Create dashboards and reports to monitor KPIs like yield and on-time delivery.
• Support quality planning and deployment for new manufacturing processes.
• Mentor quality team members and drive cross-functional problem-solving.
