Job summary

Divergent is seeking a Staff Quality & Reliability Engineer to lead reliability improvements across the additive manufacturing fleet. You will drive issues from escalation through root cause, engineering solution, and validated closure, translating fleet lessons into stronger design requirements and validation strategies.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in reliability engineering for complex machinery.
• Proven root-cause analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Cross-functional collaboration and leadership across multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Own Reliability Issue Intake, Triage, & Prioritization: Screen, triage, group, organize, and support prioritization of engineering escalations based on fleet impact, recurrence, severity, and business need.
• Drive Engineering Issues Through Validated Closure: Coordinate with SMEs to develop engineering solutions and drive actions through completion; ensure evidence supports corrective actions.
• Inform Future Product Design: Support the generation of engineering standards and requirements throughout the product lifecycle informed by reliability learnings.
• Technical Leadership & Engineering Excellence: Lead with data-driven decision making and uphold engineering excellence across programs.
