Job summary

Liquidity Services, Inc. is seeking a Product Owner to drive product discovery, definition, development, and post-release support for key software products. You will work with product managers, developers, designers, and business stakeholders to ensure clear requirements and high-value outcomes.

In this hybrid role, you will also function as Scrum Master, facilitate agile ceremonies, and help validate releases while acting as the voice of the user throughout the product realization cycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years digital product owner, business analysis, or development experience.
• Experience with multi-team Agile/Scrum environments as PO and/or scrum master.
• Experience with offshore development teams.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and maintain the product backlog with features, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Translate technical information into comprehensive user stories with acceptance criteria.
• Serve as the voice of the user for the delivery team throughout the product lifecycle.
• Elicit requirements from clients and internal teams, clarifying to ensure successful launches.
• Break down epics into detailed user stories for the development team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute the product roadmap.
• Communicate backlog status, release notes, and progress via demos and plans.
• Facilitate scrum events: backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives.
• Act as SME for assigned products; partner with UX in usability testing.
• Prioritize feature requests and assess defect impact with PM/QA/development.
