Job summary

Cencora, Inc. is seeking a Product Owner for Pro Control and Pro Control Batcher to define and advance software capabilities for feed mill operations. You will act as the main liaison between customers, software/hardware teams, and stakeholders to deliver reliable and innovative solutions.

The role requires deep knowledge of feed mill processes, batching, and industrial automation. You will translate customer needs into clear product requirements and maintain a forward-looking AI-enabled

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Industrial Technology, Automation, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Experience in feed mill operations, batching systems, industrial automation, or related manufacturing environments.
Demonstrated understanding of PLCs, automation logic, and software-controlled industrial processes.
Working knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems in production environments.
Experience gathering, documenting, and translating customer needs into product requirements.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
Ability to work across multiple teams and travel 30–40%.

Responsibilities

Own product direction for Pro Control and Pro Control Batcher.
Develop and communicate an 18-month product roadmap aligned to customer needs and business goals.
Evaluate opportunities for product enhancement, feature expansion, and system optimization.
Identify opportunities to apply AI, analytics, and automation to improve system performance.
Gather and document business, functional, and system requirements.
Create user stories, feature definitions, workflows, and acceptance criteria.
Prioritize the backlog based on impact, value, feasibility, and urgency.
Partner with development teams through design, build, test, and release.
