Job summary

RTX in Woburn, MA is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer to serve as Product Owner for an Agile radar simulation tool suite within the Long Range Radars Department. This onsite role supports verification, validation, and integration of radar system capabilities in a fast-paced defense program.

Responsibilities include driving product direction, owning the team backlog, refining epics, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure delivery aligned with program milestones.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) with 8+ years of experience.
• Experience in Systems or Software Engineering.
• Experience in Agile environments and/or projects.

Responsibilities

• Drive product direction and execution for radar simulation tool suite in Agile context.
• Own and manage the team backlog with clearly defined, prioritized user stories.
• Lead refinement, break epics into estimable stories, define sprint goals.
• Oversee cost, schedule, and technical performance for the AN/TPY-2 program scope.
