Job summary

U.S. Energy Development Corporation seeks a Product Owner for Financial Systems to bridge Accounting and Technology, owning the roadmap for Enertia and related platforms.

You will partner with Accounting to map workflows, define data needs, and drive automation and data quality across systems. You will translate business requirements into technical specs, collaborate with Data Engineering, and support reliable reporting with BI tools like Power BI.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in business analysis, product ownership, financial systems, or a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with Accounting and become their trusted technology partner.
• Learn and map Accounting workflows, including manual and undocumented processes.
• Identify opportunities to simplify processes, automate work, and improve efficiency.
• Translate business needs into functional requirements, user stories, data requirements, and transformation logic.
• Own the roadmap and backlog for Enertia and integrated financial platforms.
• Define financial data mappings, business rules, and ETL requirements and partner with Data Engineering to deliver them.
• Lead financial systems and data initiatives from concept through implementation.
• Troubleshoot complex system and data issues and help ensure data integrity across platforms.
• Partner with BI and Data teams on reliable reporting and analytics, including Power BI.
• Support data governance and validate information used for financial, investor, and compliance reporting.
